The Atlanta Project
This comprehensive home renovation project in Atlanta was customized to specifications of the homeowner. We completely transformed her home by gutting the main level, changing the structural layout for a more open concept, raising the roof to make 10 foot ceilings, gutting and refitting it with new electrical wiring, adding a new HVAC unit, plumbing & water heater, adding high efficiency windows and enclosing the carport to make an attached garage.
The house is 1,693 square feet. The county would NOT allow the footprint to change. A creative design had to be used to maximize the square footage according to code. This was done through the use of cantilevers and converting the back deck and front porch into interior floor plan. The finished results include an increased and open living space, a large spacious kitchen, high-end bathrooms, and a multi-purpose music room requested by the homeowner.
