Get The Look: Go Bold with Gold
Whether purchasing a new home, renovating, or building from the ground up it's safe to say that light fixtures can really make or break a space. From chandeliers, table lamps, to pendants and wall sconces: size, scale and finish are all factors to make note of when making these selections. Here are a few of our favorite gold fixtures from past projects.
From tradition, modern and everywhere in between gold can be added to brighten the room or even add pops of personality in any space. (Most of these fixtures offer additional finishes if gold does not suit your fancy!)
Some Tips when shopping for Gold:
1. Finishes like Polished Nickel, Natural Brass, Antique Brass give you the timeless look you're going for without the dated look. This trend is spreading fast so finding the right finish should be relatively easy.
2. Touches of gold, usually through accessories like light fixtures, are all that's needed for the impact. In addition to light fixtures cabinet hardware, plumbing fixtures, and even wallpaper are great places to add these touches.
3. As the saying goes, "too much of a good thing is bad"... or something like that. The same applies for any interior furnishings. Subtle touches of your favorites go a long way. Take it from someone who dreams in color, less is more! :)
