As the saying goes, "the kitchen is the heart of the home". Speaking from experience it seems as though good things usually come out of the kitchen - laughter around the island, home cooked meals, the aroma of a good cup of coffee... okay, I think you get it. :) It's safe to say a majority of activities happen in the kitchen- at least for us! It's most enjoyable when the kitchen is bright, inviting, and most importantly filled with YOUR personality.

Each of our projects are different, and each house a different style, but ultimately the same goal is in mind. Here are a couple of simple tips that we have found to help warm up the kitchen.

Custom cabinet colors are the perfect was to warm or brighten your kitchen, while adding personality. Painting the island a different color breaks up the space and allows for a more personal and custom feel.

Placing a runner in front of the kitchen sink helps bring warmth and comfort, while washing those dishes, in a beautiful way.

Wooden shelves displaying china or your favorite accents add interest and pops of color.

Adding floral arrangements help liven up the kitchen while adding pops of color or greenery.

Full height counter top back splash creates a bold look, creating less grout lines for a cleaner look.

Creating a spaces that's designed around your functionality, lifestyle, and design is our goal. No two kitchens are the same and the layout, storage, feasibility and style are all important factors when designing a kitchen. It's the little details that make the difference!
